Recipe Creation & Testing

These days I'm busy creating recipes for Carolina Country Magazine, the monthly publication for all North Carolina Electric CoOp members!

…from ideation and creation from scratch, to testing and tweaking, I love working with clients on all parts of recipe development and testing!
My favorite thing is heading into one of my three kitchens, (especially my rustic and vintage outdoor cookhouse with my grandma’s double oven stove), where I do my happy dance while playing with food. That is what most makes my heart happy. Whether your needs are for the consumer audience, a small producer needing recipes with your value-added products, or as a wholesaler marketing to restaurants, caterers, grocers and others, my experiences cover them all, and it would be my pleasure to get into my kitchen and ​happy dance my skills for you and your products!

In addition to my monthly recipes, I was asked to feature 4 iconic North Carolina foods and create recipes with each for this holiday food issue.  The companies featured are Krispy Kreme, Bone Suckin Sauce, Neese's Sausage and Mt. Olive Pickles!
