Personal Chef Wendy Perry & East Wake Wine Guy Ken Eschenbaugh are teaming up to launch this fun new supper service
to folks in the Triangle East area.

Crock Cook’n is good ‘n slowwww, but for you, it’s F.A.S.T. ..
Sure gives “fast food” a whole new meaning, eh?
And to make it even more irresistible, it’s Drive Thru Too!

Just give Ken a quick speed-dial call 5 minutes out and he’ll get busy bagging your (pre-selected) wine or beer (and chilled as appropriate)… unplug your crock, and you just drive up, let him sit your hot supper and chilled beverage in the car… and keep driving!  No parking, unloading and reloading kiddos - in about a minute,
you are headed home to sit supper on the table

So dust off your pot, drop it off and on Wednesday, drive off with su
pper!

Not in this area but wanna get Crocked?....

I would love to bring my Crock’n service to your area, but depending on your location, will need a minimum number of crocks (5) per stop to make this feasible.  Call me and we’ll chat about how to get this going in your office, day care, neighborhood!

...a hot dee-lish meal @ home for less than $5 a meal!!
Can't beat that at a drive through!

Upcoming Menus
There is no reason healthier foods can’t be tasty foods… so I will be making every attempt to trim fat, calories and all that other stuff whenever possible while keeping the “YUM” factor intact.  You may see something on the menus you are not familiar with or may think you wouldn’t like… I encourage you to crawl outside your usual culinary box and try some new things!  I also encourage you to ask me any questions you have about any of the menus listed.

TO BOOK @ East Wake Wines:
 Call Wendy @ 919.404.0499

GENERAL STUFF… (East Wake Wine Crock'n)

1.    You will bring your CLEAN Crock Pot to East Wake Wines during store business hours no later than Tuesday evening so it will be there and ready for filling Wednesday morn.

2.    Due to the volume of crocks, substitutions and menu changes are not possible.  However, if you have particular food allergies or ingredient dislikes, I need to know in advance and we will chat about that when setting up your service so recipe adjustments can be made.  I also request that if you do have allergies, in addition to letting me know when we book your cook dates, you stick a note with your allergy on your pot when leaving it at the store as an additional reminder for me.

3.    The meals are for a minimum 6 qt. Crock Pot.If yours is smaller, you will need to get a larger one.  For a small fee (see below), I will be happy to purchase one for you and add to your first crock date.  I also have Consumer Reports “best recommendations for Slow Cookers/Crock Pots” and will be happy to share with you if requested as you purchase your new one.

4.    Crocks are $39 per week.  Those who reserve and pay for a full month’s CROCK service at the time will receive a 10% discount. Some menu items are all-inclusive (meat, veggie, starch) while some are not and you may just need a simple salad or steamed veggie side dish to complete the meal.  As appropriate, a chef’s choice side will accompany each crock.  For example, if fajitas are on the menu, tortillas will be left for you.  If a soup/chowder is prepared, muffins, rolls or something similar will be provided.  I make every attempt to note those things on the online menu postings, but there may be times on shopping day when I must make a sub due to availability.  At $39/8 servings, you are providing a hot, tasty healthy meal for your family for less than $5 a serving, less than a drive through fast food (UGH!) meal!  And extras can be packaged and frozen for another supper on a busy night so you may actually get 2+ meals from one crock.

5.   Wine Guy Ken will be offering a wine and beer recommendation for each menu posting.  However, you are certainly welcome to venture outside of those and purchase anything you prefer from Ken instead.  If you are or become a frequent shopper with him, he will come to know your tastes and can pair accordingly.  If you would like his weekly selection, you can just let me know when ordering your crock and I’ll pass along to him.  If not, you will need to call him to talk about other options. Because this service is being done via his store as a “Pairing,” a beer and/or wine purchase(s) is required for Crock service.

PAYMENT STUFF…

1.    ALL PAYMENTS ARE PROCESSED IN ADVANCE.  That includes both your crock and beverage.  I will keep your credit card securely on file as will Ken at East Wake Wines for each week’s billing.

2.    You may pay by cash or check, but a credit card must be on file. Card payments will be billed twice, once for your crock by Wendy and once for your beverage purchase by Ken @ East Wake Wines.

3.    Your weekly order will be processed on Friday mornings (9:00AM) before each Wednesday cook date.  As you can understand due to the nature of what we are doing and necessary planning time, there can be no refunds on your Crocks. Should you be unable to use any week’s crock once ordered, they make a great “thinking of you” gift for a helpful friend, pastor, busy single mom or a senior on a fixed income.  There will rarely (if ever) be any crock meal that cannot be frozen in one or more portions for busy nights, lunches or for sharing.

ORDERING STUFF…

1.    Menus will be posted monthly here on this page at www.TriangleCrockPots.com.  Also, I will email out to clients.  If you or someone you know is interested and not online, please call 919-404-0499 and I will be happy to provide information over the phone.

2.    Crock orders must be made by 9PM on Thursday of the week before to ensure payment processing on Friday morning and preparation time for planning and shopping.  Remember, Wendy will be doing multiple pots that require ample planning and shopping time.

3.    You can let her know at time of placing order of your beverage selection if choosing that week’s pairing by Ken as posted below.  If you prefer something other than what Ken has paired and know what that is, you can let Wendy know to pass along.  If not, you will need to call Ken before the store closes on Saturday to chat with him and make selection.  (The store is closed on Sunday/Monday and he too, needs ample planning/ordering time.)

Wendy & Ken look forward to fixing supper for you one night each week!  There are limited crock slot bookings available so be sure to call and reserve yours today!
