There are lots of things that have garnished my journey, and here you'll find a few of them...
Some time ago, I took it uponst myself to compile recipes from ALL my Perry kin folk to make this cookbook.  I flat out refused to publish it until every single one of them game me something for the book... finally, after public humiliation at a summer reunion of those who were dragging their feet, they got off the pot... even the little ones drew pictures for me... albeit "stick" pics, to scatter throughout the book.  It wasn't any best seller, but lots of folks in the community bought it and have enjoyed the stories by my daddy and his siblings, along with favorite recipes and really good ones by my "Ma Pur," otherwise known as Frances Chamblee Perry... to whom i dedicated this book. The back cover pic is a 4 gen one... with me in my great-grandmas lap!  I was blessed to have had 2 wondermous cook'n grandmas, and wish I would have been older so I could have spent more time by their sides in the kitchen with them.  I love projects like this and would love to work with you and your family, organization or company to compile and create a cookbook for you!
NOTE:  The recipes in my web page header were my Ma Hocutt's and the NC State Fair ribbon was my Ma Pur's.
